|League of Legends has tried something new with it's latest champion. Kha'Zix the Voidreaver uses adaptive and evolving technology to change over the course of the battle. Summoners now have a choice on how to build their champion. One persons' Khaz might not be the same as anothers, and that's where this gets interesting.
Kha'Zix is an insect-like alien with the option to evolve his wings, claws, spikes or camouflage. Every time you level up his ultimate you get an evolution choice. By the time you are maxed out, you will have 3 out of the 4 options fully evolved. This makes for some interesting replay value, as you can build him many different ways by evolving skills at different times, or not at all.
As far as gameplay goes, this guy is a little squishy, but makes up for it with lots of burst damage. His ability to launch long distances and over walls for a surprise attack makes him a threat even when he's not in range. Plus his ultimate combined with his passive (invisibility into bonus damage strikes) makes him a force to be reckoned with. There are a lot of different ways to play him, so it takes time to figure out what you like. Don't be discouraged if the first couple games are a little rough. It's worth it once you get the hang of him.
The artwork and concept for Khaz is pretty interesting, and you have to hand it to the guys at Riot for making another unique and fun champion to play. Enjoy stalking your prey the weird way with this creepy alien hunter.
